Adult Daytime Care
Adult Day Enrichment at New Albany
Where “seasoned citizens” add a little flavor to their day!
Our mission is to provide daily care, activities, and socialization for older adults in a family-like setting, and to provide
support and education for their caregivers.
Located in the east wing of New Albany Methodist Church, ADENA’s facilities include an activity room, an exercise room,
a nurse’s office, a handicapped accesible restroom with shower, and a laundry room.
The front entrance where clients may sit and enjoy sunny afternoons is equipped with a door chime system offering added security.
Therapeutic activities include starting the morning by gathering around the tables and discussing current events while sipping coffee.
A variety of large motor activities are offered before lunch, such as balloon volleyball, box hockey, miniature golf and bowling.
To stimulate our minds, we participate in trivia games, crossword puzzles and word searches, all completed as a group.
Full day, half day, or hourly care by nurses, activity staff and Program Health Assistants (PHAs).
