Living Life Lunch:

The first Thursday of each month join us for lunch at the Honeybaked Ham Cafe in the shopping center at Morse and Cherry Bottom Roads at 11:30 a.m. This is a casual, relaxed opportunity to share a meal with other fabulous people like you.

Lenten study based on Final Words by Adam Hamilton:

A 6 week Lenten Bible Study at 10:30 a.m. in the Cafe each Tuesday starting on February 13. Pastor Carol Betts, facilitator.

Another study group led by Pastor Frank Luchsinger will meet for 6 Sundays at 7:00 pm starting February 18 in the Sanctuary.

Soup Cook-Off

on Wednesday, February 21 at noon in the church Cafe. Choose to enter your soup in the contest OR come…taste…and cast your vote for the best soup. The winner of the contest will receive a prize and the heartfelt appreciation from all. Join the fun! Please RSVP to cbetts001@gmail.com

Lunch at Wesley Woods at New Albany–March 15 at 11:00

This new Methodist Retirement Community has recently opened and a number from the Living Life group are ready to see the facility. Wesley Woods has offered to provide a meal for us (that means it is FREE). We wil have some time to be together, share a meal and those who wish to may take a tour.

Have you ever found yourself saying, “I am going to clean up my act? But every act starts with a thought so we really need to clean up our thoughts…our beliefs because that is what create the act. How did you come to believe the things you believe and how do these beliefs direct/guide your life?

August 9—Uncover the Peace and Serenity you need to Live Well…Even When the Unexpected Happens.
Being willing to make changes can produce amazing benefits. Refusing to make necessary changes can have devastating consequences. What would you be willing to change to find Peace and Serenity?

September 27—Unraveling the Complexities of Everyday Interactions to Live Well.
Are you like Charlie Brown who said, “I love humanity. It’s people I can’t stand.”? We all interact with so many people. Learning how to renegotiate your roles and avoid stressful entanglements can help you live well.

Dr. John (Tim) Savage, is a United Methodist Minister for 26 years and became the founder and president of L.E.A.D. Consultants, Inc. for 25 years. He is a lecturer, trainer, consultant, spiritual director, author, coach, and a trained psychotherapist. He has four earned degrees and has conducted educational and training courses in the U.S., England, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
We are fortunate to have him with us.
