Jesus said: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. And then he said: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
At New Albany Methodist we strive to serve our Lord by clothing, caring, visiting, and feeding those in our church, neighborhoods, community and world. We invite you to come and be apart of our mission and outreach ministries. By serving others either locally or globally, we believe your faith will be strengthened, your spirit will be lifted, and you will come face to face with the living God.

Other global mission opportunities…

Imagine No Malaria. We are proud to support this dynamic and effective ministry through the global United Methodist Church. Throughout the year, we raise money to aid in the fight against Malaria. Through the education, better medical intervention and the distribution of bed nets, this program has lowered the death rate of this illness by 50% in just a few short years.
Operation Christmas Child This is a great opportunity for families to be in mission together. Each year, just before Thanksgiving, we fill shoeboxes with small gifts, school supplies and other items and donate them to needy children affiliated with Operation Christmas Child. The objective of the program is to demonstrate God’s love in a real and tangible way to children in need. We will collect our boxes in November each year.
